She was born on September 19, 1964 in Monticello, Georgia to parents Gwendolyn and Jack Howard Yearwood. She had her debut album in the year 1991 when she signed with MCA Nashville. Her first attempt towards fame was quite successful because her lead single “She’s in Love with the Boy” reached the number 1 on the Billboard Country Chart. Since then, she became a remarkable singer and she continued to gain prominence in the music industry.
The notable singer is presently in love and married to singer and songwriter Garth Brooks. They got married on December 10, 2005 after Garth proposed to her on May 25, 2005 in front of her thousands of fans while she was having a show. Unfortunately she didn’t bear a child with him.
Previously, she was married to musician Chris Latham but they got divorced in 1991. She also became the wife of Robert “Bobby” Reynolds of “The Mavericks” but also had their divorce in 1999.
