The daughter of Valerie Vaughn and Joseph Simmons, she is the sister of Angela Simmons, Diggy Simmons, and Russell Simmons II. She initially gained attention in show business when she was cast on the TV series Guiding Light in the year 2007, particularly appearing in several episodes.
She earned her breakthrough when she was highlighted on the TV series documentary Run’s House from 2005 to 2009. From 2008 to 2013, she became part of the TV series Fashion News Live. She also went to portray the role Piper on the motion picture What Would You Do For Love as well as on the film Dysfunctional Friends wherein she acted the role Hanna.
